There is a reason we offer finish samples to our clients. Taking an accurate photo that captures the variations of color and the grain of the wood is nearly impossible.
Take for example these two attempts to capture a custom light antique pine distressed stain finish. The image on the left was taken with my cellphone. The one on the right was rendered on a flatbed scanner. Neither has been retouched. And, neither is accurate.
Granted the scanned image does show more detail, but the color is off. It’s too light.
So, please, order finish samples before placing your bed order. We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase and seeing the finish in person will ensure you are choosing just the right color for your home.
